| MIKE YOUNG Associate - Des Moines Prior to joining FG Companies in August 2007, Mr. Young was a Portfolio Manager with Knapp Properties, Inc., a leading Real Estate Management and Development firm in West Des Moines, Iowa. From September 2006 through August 2007, Mr. Young was the Director of Associations and Portfolio Manager for Knapp’s Property Management Department. His duties included direct day-to-day management of a portfolio of commercial properties ranging from Class A Office Space to Warehouse Facilities. In addition to his commercial real estate management duties, Mr. Young also served as the Director of Associations, leading the Homeowner Association Management Department that consisted of over 1,600 residential units and $3 million in annual revenues. From May 2005 to September 2006, Mr. Young served as Association Manager. He dealt directly with 8 member associations and managed all aspects of the various associations including budgeting, capital projects, compliance management and monthly meetings/presentations with the separate Boards of Directors. Mr. Young holds BAs in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Northern Iowa. He is a current member of the Des Moines Young Professionals Connection and prior contributor to the Des Moines Register Young Adult Contributors Board |
