| BOB HUGHES Vice President, FG Solutions Mr. Hughes is a senior level executive with expertise in systems development, systems integration, project management, information technology risk management, and information technology operations. He has more than 16 years of diverse leadership experience in information technology within the areas of financial services, consulting, and manufacturing. Prior to joining the FG team in 2007, Mr. Hughes was the Vice President of Business Integration at Metris companies. Through effective partnerships with his business counterparts, Mr. Hughes successfully managed teams in the development, integration and support of applications in the areas of underwriting, recovery and payment processing. His responsibilities included application integration, application support, project management, change management, account management, risk management, IT Steering Committee, disaster recovery and business continuity. Mr. Hughes also held IT operations roles for server support and help desk. While at Metris Companies, Mr. Hughes was called on to provide oversight for key business and IT projects underwriting system, separation of the Enhancement Services business during a divestiture, and integration of IT departments during a business merger. From 1990 to 1997 Mr. Hughes was the Information Technology Lead for Shared Services at Amoco Corporation. In this role, he successfully managed teams responsible for development, integration and support of claims administration, litigation, security, and shareholder services applications. Mr. Hughes has a MS and BS in Computer Science. |
